I do most of the work around here. I sort, cut, trace, band saw, and run the CNC router. I decide what part of the chair or table the board is destined to become. I can look into the grain structure of a board and know exactly how it will perform outdoors.

The guys count on me to detect any minor defect in a board before it gets to the next phase of production. They say I can spot the problems before the wood ever makes it off the truck.
