I spent Saturday morning on my deck, enjoying a beautiful
Colorado fall day and assembling two backless benches, two park benches
and a 54-inch table. It is rare these days to find a product that even
comes close to meeting its marketing hype. That’s what made Saturday
so enjoyable. I was awestruck by the quality of the product, ease of assembly,
the fact that fit as they were supposed to. I rounded up the family and
friends and christened that furniture right away with a rippin'’
barbecue dinner. This furniture blows away “Teak for life”
that the big guys sell.

No, this is not a spam or chain letter. Those of you who
know me know that I have always had a passion for customer service - not
just receiving good service, but the actual study of how service can be
so good or so bad. It is not often that I recommend a product or service.
Rarely does something get my attention to the degree that it is worth
sharing with exuberance. But, I have been so pleased with my Baldwin Adirondack
Chairs that I had to share their web site (www.baldwinfurniture.com) with
you. I have also attached a picture below. If you long for quiet respite
at the end of a long day or week like me, you know that being comfortable
is a prerequisite. Now, a wooden chair doesn't sound that comfortable,
but these are. Having done tons of research before our purchase last year,
I was skeptical that I would ever find something well built and comfortable
that would stand up to Texas weather. And I certainly never imagined a
good experience buying something so personal as a good fitting chair over
the web - sight untouched. I was very wrong. Their construction tour on
the web site sold me first.
Quite simply, the Baldwin Chair is a solid (made from 2x6s),
sealed (Olympic Maximum Cedar Natural Tone), expertly crafted (take the online tour), securely
package (amazing), uniquely designed (fits your butt AND back), and mind-numbingly
comfortable. OK, I'll stop. And, no I am not on Baldwin's payroll... which
makes this review even more special. Anyhow, thought you might like an
honest product review on something you should one day have on your porch
or deck. Sit in another Adirondack chair, and then try the Baldwin...

to assemble the immediately for the trial sit. The craftsmanship is outstanding
- far better than other chairs I have seen and owned (past tense - the
chairs have since fallen apart in a single season). The chairs are solid
looking, and even more comfortable, than expected. We have to watch out
for neighbors that drop by to try out the chairs and leave several hours
