All of our furniture is made with clear Western Red Cedar. It is naturally decay resistant, light weight and absolutely gorgeous! We use only stainless steel hardware because it never rusts or leaves stains on the wood. Our furniture is made with parts that get sanded on every surface: Top, bottom, left, right, front and back. Our dedication to sanding is what brings our customers back year after year. Everything at Baldwin's get coated with Olympic Maximum weather proofing sealer at the factory. Annual maintenance is necessary to keep up the new look, but if you like the weathered grey look then do no maintenance. Cedar is an excellent material and can be left out year after year after year.
