Step 1: Unpack everything. Find the following
parts: The Baby Baldwin Backrest assembly, the chair base assembly
and the two arms with arm gussets attached. Find the hard-ware
pack which includes: eight 2 1/2" screws, four 1 5/8"
screws and one extra of each length. Also please find a Baldwin
hand held square screwdriver.
Step 2: Stand the chair base on a flat work
surface right side up. Set the back rest assembly in place and
screw it in using four 1 5/8" screws. Try to line up the
tip ofthe screw with the old screw hole. This ensures ease of
assembly and a perfect fit. If after tightening the screwa a gap
between the parts remains then you must hold back the screw out,
hold the parts together, and put the screw in again.
Step 3: The arms attach with two 2 1/2"
screws through the rear of each armrest into the chair's upper
backrest curve. Screw through the arm gusset into the front leg
with one 2 1/2" screw. On the backside of each leg is a hole
for screwing the front leg directly to the armrest. Use one 2
1/2" screw for each armrest. Each arm gets four 2 1/2"
screws. That's eight all together.
