Why Buy Baldwin?About UsOur Furniture

Step 1: Unpack all the parts. You should have two leg frames, two 4' backrest pieces, one bench assembly, four gussets, twenty four 2 1/2 screws and a square head screwdriver (provided).
Step 2: Lay the bench board assembly upside down on a soft surface with the back of the assembly(the boards that don't have the corners clipped off) on the edge of a table. Align a bench leg assembly with the pencil line drawn on the bottom of the bench assembly. The pencil line should be lined up with the inside of the leg frame. Screw each leg frame on with six screws.

Step 3: The next step is to screw on the gussets. The gussets are flushed to the back of the bench assembly. It is very important to have no gaps between the bench and the gusset as well as between the leg frame and the gusset. The Gussets are square and when installed properly they square the frame to the back seat.

Step 4: Now lay the bench down on it's back. Line up the top backrest piece(the one with the clipped corners) with the upper set of lines marked out on the leg frames. Screw it on. Line up the lower backrest board and screw it on the same way. And that's all there is to it.
